Week 38, Autumn . .

. . has arrived. We made a bit of a flower arrangement with the leftovers of the bouquet from a couple of weeks ago.

Suenextdoor has given us some plums from their tree, they are yummy

Here is my friend Flopsy, who made a flying visit for some repairs and is now back in USA with her owner

More runner beans! I think I'll soon be turning green.

I do like a nice cuppa now and again.

This lobelia is in a pot on the deck, where it's slightly sheltered and doesn't have the windswept look of the lobelia in the (now not) hanging baskets

and this tiny little white cyclamen has made its first appearance in the garden, isn't it lovely?

Week 37

Who remembers last week's rosebud. Here it is now, open and smelling divine.

Did you watch the football, England v Ukraine? It was a difficult match to watch.

This is how I spend most of my time, sitting in the bag watching the world go by.

Mum's just become a Phoenix Trader again, you can see her website here:
https://www.phoenix-trading.co.uk/web/joyshallcross/
She let me help unpack the Christmas card samples (oops, sorry, mentioned Christmas, promise I wont mention it again for a while!)

My people have been doing some overhang cut-backs, here's a pile of the cuttings, lovely smell (but not as nice as the rose)

Autumn is well and truly here now, mum's been taking fuschia cuttings from the hanging baskets, so she'll have lots of new plants for next year.

Do I like coleslaw? Never tried it, does it taste like grass or hay?

Week 36

When Marissa tells you to lie down and go to sleep, you really just have to do it.

Isn't this rosebud - from GO and his partner - a lovely colour?

These yellow chrysanthemums are from the same bunch

This sunflower is very tiny, it's self-seeded, but we are going to collect the seeds and sow them next year, and hope for taller ones.

The fig tree has been moved from its temporary home to its final position.

A new beer that my mum is trying, wonder why she wouldn't let me have a taste

Watching the sunrise over Salisbury Plain

Hope you enjoy your week,
