Week 47

It's those girls again.

Gosh, is that the date already? How time flies.

A lunchtime trip out to Horningsham.

Look at all those leaves, I hope they don't expect me to sweep them up.

Celery soup? For a horse?

Ah, ketchup, much more to my taste.

Her little bottle of fairy dust hanging with the wind chimes.

Week 46

We had a lovely time away last week with the grandchildren, but now we are very pleased to be back home again.

It was a lovely bright sunny day, so we drove to the top of Cradle Hill with a picnic lunch to eat in the car - it was quite windy and cool!

Some vegan mayo for GO, from D.I.L.

Shop-bought cornish pasty for lunch, not as tasty as home-made, but much quicker when you're hungry

I've been helping her to stamp up some more Phoenix brochures and get them ready to distribute

These came from Australia, she has joined Post Circle and is one of a group of six people who send each other nice things in the post.

Our old washing machine died, and while we were away GM and GT fitted a new one, I'll just make sure it's working properly

Week 45, Home and away

We had to take GO's car for its MOT, as he has a new job, starting next week, and he needs it back on the road.

GM has finished the wardrobes, the last job was to fit the hinges and hang the doors.

We met Jean for a cuppa and a natta, and we enjoyed a cheese scone, which, as it was quite large, we shared (yes, they even let me have a sniff!).

Very soon now we are going away for a few days, we'll be attending a birthday party, so we need to make a few cakes

We visited Marissa (and her Mum and Dad).

We enjoyed her birthday party.

And then we visited Abi (and her Mum and Dad).

Week 44, it's been a good week.

We had our usual cuppa in bed, and they let me have some of the milk before Cassie came for her share.

She sorted her Phoenix stock, hope she doesn't put a price tag on me.

We went down to Crockerton and met with Eileen, who bought our lunch for us, thanks Eileen.

We re-read the letter from our penfriend Kimberley in New Zealand, we love letters from Kimberley, she's a Phoenix phan too, as you can see from the notepaper she uses.

GO (ginger one) came to stay overnight, he is very excited as he has a new job, and starts on 18th November

We replied to Kimberley's letter and put it in the post

We have one of our photos on the back of the U3A October newsletter, are we famous yet?

Hope you had a good week. Next week's posting may be a little late, we are off to Surrey for Marissa's birthday party and a cuddle session (sorry, a babysitting session) with Abigail.
