Just had to stop and wave at Uncle Westbury
Checking out the hollyhock, soon be time to plant it out
Leeks, they'll need to go outside soon, too
Sweetpeas, these will need some protection from the mice, who've already eaten some of our cosmos seedlings.
Tomatoes, coming on really strongly, these will stay inside
A trip to Salisbury for the Saturday market. Salisbury Cathedral has the tallest church spire in the UK
The new header for the other blog, made from daisies
Have a good week,
Wanda xxx

Week 16
Wanda likes a bit of condiment
Oooh, a new barbecue, looks like we'll be having some fun this year
Soldiers and sailors, aka Pulmonaria
Coffee and malteser cake with Jean at Palmer Gardens
Forget-me-nots
Having a read of the papers
On the banks of the River Wylye on a beautiful spring day
Wanda is looking forward to being outdoors a bit more now that the weather appears to be warming up at long last.

Week Fifteen
The week started off cold, and I wasn't feeling too well, so GM took me out and bought me a half pint of Guinness, which, of course, it was necessary for Wanda to check out for me - I think she liked it.
The next thing for Wanda to check out was the little suit that I've knitted for my soon-to-be-born grandchild.
On Wednesday we actually made it to Bristol to see GO (ginger one), after several false starts and date changes. We had a meal out, and naturally Wanda wanted to see what it was all about. The hand on the left of picture belongs to GO, while the face top middle belongs to GT (ginger two). I would like to point out at this stage that the pints are not mine, mine is the half pint!
Thursday's post bought a letter from my penfriend Karen who lives in Cornwall. Karen and I have been writing to each other for a couple of months now, having both signed up on someone else's blog (shame on me, I cant remember whose blog it was!). I love getting real letters in the post rather than just bills and circulars.
On Friday GM fixed the picture hooks up in the dining room, so we now have some of our originals on display, this one I bought direct from the artist, Lian Lilley Earley, who is a native of Warminster but now lives in Devon. Wanda likes it.
Last weekend I bought some petunias and some busy lizzies to put into my hanging baskets, some of the petunias are flowering already.
Wanda having a sniff of my cheese and onion crisps. I've been slowly but surely losing weight over the past couple of months, mostly just by cutting out crisps and biscuits from my diet, so these really were a bit of a naughy indulgence.

Week 14, in which Wanda helps with the shopping, has a couple of day trips, and enjoys being at home.
A shopping trip to Morrisons on a cold grey morning.
Some new shoes, in the hope that spring will eventually arrive
A trip to Imber, in the middle of Salisbury Plain
A windy day, miles from anywhere
Service area on the M6, north of Birmingham, on our way to collect the new sideboard.
Taking a good look at the dining room from the top of the new sideboard
New placemats for the kitchen

Week Thirteen, and a quarter way through the year already
This week Wanda has been looking at things that are growing in the house
Some morning glory on my workbench in front of the window in the studio
Some potatoes chitting up on the kitchen windowsill
Some brussells sprouts seedlings in the conservatory
Then she decided to say hello to the elephant in the front room
We let her join in with the celebratory meal in our new dining room
and, on a quest for dessert, she checked out the fruit bowl.
A quick outing to the Angel, Heytesbury, where they had a nice fire burning
